This filter is a bigger, stronger filter which is designed for use with higher water volume.  It is ideal for situations such as pumping from reservoirs, dams, rivers and tanks or on higher volume irrigation systems.  It is very versatile in that there is a variety of Ends, Screens and Barrels for many different applications.

The Emjay® Series 3000 Filter uses the Emjay Series 3000 Filter Element which is made from a high quality stainless steel mesh for extra strength and longevity with a strong plastic cage structure to maintain integrity.  The Elements are colour coded for easy identification. There are currently 3 different size Elements available: 30mesh, 80mesh and 120mesh

There are 3 variations of ends for this filter:
Threaded: ¾” (20mm) BSP & NPT and 1” (25mm) BSP & NPT
Barbed: 20mm and 25mm Emjay Standard Barb configuration
Full Flow: 20mm and 25mm Full Flow Compression Ends

The barrel (body of the filter) is available either Clear or Black.
When using the clear barrel it is easy to see if the filter cartridge needs cleaning or is blocked.  The Black barrel is used to prevent light from getting into the water line and thus helps to inhibit fungal growth inside the filter.

Definition of Mesh sizes: “Mesh is the number of openings in a linear inch”.   Therefore the greater the Mesh Number the smaller the holes in the filter and the finer the filter mesh.
